“We’re taking you on the road!”: Sonya Curry Jokingly Offers Draymond Green’s Trash Talkers Tickets to Warriors’ Away Games
There is something about using hate as fuel. Just ask any competitive person and they will tell you it fuels their spirit. It fires up people. So, when fans heckle players, they sometimes get fired up. We’ve heard stories from Kobe Bryant and James Harden. But this time, it was Draymond Green’s turn and Sonya Curry was involved too.
Yes, sounds a little bizarre right? How did a player and his teammate’s mom get involved in a trash-talking battle? Well, that did happen in a road game.
In the recent clash vs the Washington Wizards, the Warriors came out on top; courtesy of Stephen Curry and Jordan Poole’s heroics. Apart from the hot scoring streak from these two, even Draymond Green got in on the action. He scored 17 points!

Sonya Curry Chimes in and wants to take Draymond Green’s trash talkers on the road
The reason why Draymond was on fire was that he was engaging fans on the sidelines in trash talk. Green put up a stat line of 17-6-10.
The two fans even uploaded the video on their social media. We all know how much Green loves to trash talk. He is perhaps one of the last few players left who like to get into their opponent’s heads.
The fans riled up Draymond and the Power Forward made them feel the wrath. Golden State Warriors have a terrible away record and this win was much needed.
So much so that, even Sonya Curry, Stephen Curry’s mother, who was in attendance gave them props. She said, “we’re taking you two on the road.”.
Draymond even gave them a shout out
At the post-game presser, Draymond even spoke about the two fans that heckled him. He talked about how that helped him improve his offensive drive.
