Stephen Curry is widely regarded as the greatest shooter in the history of the NBA. With well over 3,000 made 3-pointers made in just the regular season, the volume of 3s he makes in combination with the sheer difficulty of these shots makes the aforementioned title bestowed upon him incredibly apt.

Despite being in his 14th season in the NBA, Curry is having one of his best seasons from both an overall scoring standpoint and an efficiency standpoint. He’s putting up 30.8 points per game on 44% shooting from beyond the arc and 51% shooting from the field. Unfortunately for Steph, the Warriors’ 13-11 record doesn’t reflect his brilliance.
Amidst the Warriors’ attempt at defending their 2022 NBA championship, Steph has taken it upon himself to put even more fear in the hearts of 29 other teams’ scouting agents. He’s done with a video of himself making perhaps the most ridiculous shots of all time.
Stephen Curry goes off from 94 feet, much to Ja Morant’s amazement
Stephen Curry released a video recently of him over-hand chucking a basketball from one side of the hardwood to the next, and into the basket. A regulation size NBA court is 94 feet and Curry, not only made this shot once, but did it 5 times in a row.
Ja Morant, Steph and Golden State’s rival from last year’s Western Conference Semi-Finals, took to Twitter to gawk at what he had just seen, calling the Davidson alum a ‘menace to society’.
mark him as a menace to society 😂😂 wtf yooo this crayo 🤦🏽♂️🔥 https://t.co/JdjjLNs0ot

This video is quite reminiscent of the old LeBron James video of him making a full-court shot while still with the Cleveland Cavaliers the first time around. This video however, was very clearly edited and fake.
Is this Stephen Curry video fake?
At the moment it’s unclear as to whether or not this video of Curry making 5 shots from 94 feet is fake. If it is fake, the editing that the video has gone through is astonishingly crisp as there doesn’t seem to be a clear cut in between the ball leaving his hands and going through the net.
However, if there was one man in the history of basketball who would ever have the shooting touch to achieve something like this, it would be none other than Stephen Curry. At the same time, this feat seems almost impossible so the video is much more likely to be fake than real.
