WATCH: Luka Doncic Gets Annoyed at a Fan After Mavs-Clippers Game

The Dallas Mavericks hosted the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday for their third matchup of the season. The Clippers came into town for the third game of their road trip before they head back to LA. On the other hand, the Mavs were playing their third game of a four-game homestand. Luka Doncic led the charge, yet again, but they couldn’t withstand the Clippers.

Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points, Paul George scored 21 points, and Normal Powell added yet another 19 points off the bench. It was a well-fought game, with the Clippers pulling away in the 4th quarter.

This game marks the fourth loss in the last five games for the Mavs. Despite Luka Doncic putting MVP stats, the Mavs haven’t been able to capitalize on their star’s brilliance.

Luka Doncic was upset with a fan after the game

Luka Doncic has been on a tear this season. The Slovenian Sensation is averaging 33.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.7 assists a game. The NBA GMs predicted he would win the MVP honors this season, and so far he hasn’t disappointed. He’s currently 4th on the MVP ladder, after sitting in the 2nd spot last week.

After the game tonight, Luka and the team were headed back into the tunnel to go to the locker room. On his way back, Luka was smacked on the back by a fan.

This was an unnecessary act, and clearly left the 3x All-Star displeased.

NBA Twitter wasn’t very happy about the same as well, and they let it be known in the comments.

Can Luka lead the Mavericks to the promised land?

Last year, Luka carried the Mavs to the Western Conference Finals. There, they were outclassed by a veteran Golden State Warriors squad. This year, Luka leveled his game up and his playing better than he ever has.

However, the team is bigger than just one player. As we can see, the Mavs have a lot of glaring errors and without fixing them, they cannot be expected to compete a championship, let alone compete for one.
