WATCH: Shaquille O’Neal Shares Hilarious Clip of Stephen A Smith Apologizing to the Kings and Lighting the Beam as They Beat the Warriors in Game 2

Throughout their 2022-23 regular season campaign, which was better than any other season in more than 20 years for the Sacramento Kings, they wouldn’t have thought they would be 2-0 up against the Warriors in the Playoffs. Even experts of the game like Stephen A. Smith and Shaquille O’Neal surely didn’t.

The defending champions almost have all the players from their championship run last year in the squad, playing for them. Yet, somehow the 3rd seed Kings have beaten them twice in the first round.

And so, everyone, who never believed De’Aaron Fox and Co would be able to carry their regular season heroics on to the post-season, is apologetic.

Shaquille O’Neal shares a clip of Stephen A. Smith apologizing for underestimating the Kings

After the Kings beat the Warriors 114-106 on Monday, in an utterly exciting game, TNT main man Shaquille O’Neal shared a clip of ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith walking back and apologizing on something he must have said about the Kings before the Playoffs started. Watch it before it disappears.

This is where the clip was from.

This was after the Kings won Game 1. Smith would be not in his seat tonight on the First Take. The man would be jumping around the studio singing praises of De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis.

What can the Warriors do about the series now?

The Golden State Warriors have to get two straight wins first and foremost because they have a 30-8 record at home. After the two games at Chase Center, they again go back to Golden 1 Center for Game 5.

If the Warriors drop another game before they visit Sacramento, it would be quite impossible for them to come back, given their away record. And to win a game, they need to get better at rebounding in their own half.

No other Game 3 in the 1st round of this year’s Playoffs would be as highly anticipated as this one. So, let’s hope Stephen Curry and Co make a comeback.
