WATCH: Video Footage of Magic Johnson's $14.6 Million 10,000-sq-ft Los Angeles Mansion Which is Up For Sale

It might not be often that a mansion in Bel-Air opens up for sale. And it might just be rarer that the same comes with the watermark of an NBA legacy to it. But it appears that such an opportunity was open to prospective buyers as recently as August 2022. The NBA legacy associated with it was that of Los Angeles royalty. Yes, the mansion in question belonged to none other than Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

And the mansion in Bel-Air wasn’t just a piece of property that counted as an investment opportunity to Magic. The former Lakers superstar lived in this very mansion which was completed in 1981, till 1990.

Magic, however, doesn’t own the property as of now. The property moved on from Johnson’s possession in 2004 to Nancy Ellin, a real estate agent who serves as the listing agent and seller of the same currently.

Ellin purchased the property for a sum of $4.4 million back in 2004 and had listed the property at $14.5 million. A neat $10 million profit awaits the realtor if a sale materializes.

Magic Johnson’s mansion comes with a court-side locker room with signatures of notable NBA stars.

As mentioned earlier, the mansion isn’t just an epitome of luxury. The Bel-Air property comes with NBA legacy and stardust all over.

Among the features of the house include a basketball court which is accompanied by a locker room. The locker room arguably is the most vaunted location to a basketball fan amongst all places in the mansion as it contains signatures of many notable NBA players“.

The Moraga Estates property comes with six bedrooms and a game room which comes with a view of the basketball court through a glass wall. Wooden ceilings, grass lawns, an in-ground pool, a barbeque, and a fire pit – the mansion comes locked and loaded with means of entertainment.

No guest to the Magic Johnson household would have left unimpressed. Magic clearly built the mansion to represent the same exuberance he extended to the basketball court.

The mansion has been described as “a true entertainer’s haven and an incredibly special home”. Descriptions that fit the mansion that housed basketball’s biggest superstar indeed.

Johnson currently resides in Beverly Park, Southern California – home to the stars

With such a marvelous mansion listed for sale, one naturally wonders where Magic Johnson lives currently. And the answer is representative of the status held by one of the biggest names in all of basketball.

Magic currently calls Beverly Park, Southern California, his residence. Names of some of the other residents of Beverly Park can shed more light on the grandeur of the locality. Denzel Washington, Adele, and Mark Wahlberg are some A-listers from the world of entertainment who Magic can call his neighbors at Beverly Park.

Just when one believes what can be an upgrade from Bel-Air.

The life of a generational talent who is also an entrepreneur worth $620 million is clearly beyond the comprehension of a common man. But, if you have $14.5 million to spare, you may get a taste of it at Bel-Air.
