“Wear these shoes, and you’ll shoot better than Stephen Curry!”: Warriors’ star Klay Thompson jokes with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao during their workout session together
Warriors’ superstar Klay Thompson gifts Manny Pacquiao his Anta Klay shoes, claims Manny would shoot better than Steph by wearing them
Warriors’ superstar Klay Thompson has been keeping busy. From going to practices and working on his recovery, to boating whenever he gets a chance, Klay is everywhere. Recently, he met Filipino boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao, for some boxing lessons.
Seems like Klay had a blast training with the legend. Klay, with his 6’6 frame, already towers over most of the regular population. With the training he’s received from the multi-titled boxing legend, Klay would be impossible to beat.

In exchange, he has to teach Manny how to shoot the basketball. It seems like a fun deal for the Warriors’ star, who gets to spend more time with the legend, while he prepares for his fight against Errol Spence Jr. on 21st August. Klay couldn’t stop praising Manny for his work ethic.
Klay Thompson claims he can make Manny Pacquiao shoot better than Stephen Curry
Manny Pacquiao has been associated with shoe brand Anta for quite some time now. The record-holding boxer has been spotted court-side at Warriors games multiple times. It is probably there where Klay and Pacquiao forged a bond. Manny upheld his share of the bargain, training Klay in boxing recently.
As for Klay, he started the process of his training by gifting the boxing legend pairs of his Anta sneakers. While giving the sneakers, Klay joked around and claimed that those would make Manny shoot better than Stephen Curry.

Well, it seems like Klay would have to work on his promise after Manny’s fight on 21st. Till then, we would possibly see a lot more of Klay in the gym and working on his boxing. It should be a fun time watching KT keeping true to his promise and teaching Manny to shoot better than Steph.
