“Can we please talk about Chris Paul and Devin Booker in the clutch more!?”: JJ Redick lobbies for the Suns guard duo to get more respect

Chris Paul and Devin Booker use their secret stuff to grab a convincing victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in game one of the NBA Finals

Chris Paul and Devin Booker were downright incredible in game one. For both players, this was their first ever NBA finals appearance, and neither skipped a beat for the Suns.

The Point God scored a game-high 32 points in this match, along with grabbing 4 rebounds and 9 assists. Book wasn’t far behind either, grabbing 27 points, and 6 assists by the final buzzer.

Many have wondered what the secret here is. There has got to be some sort of hidden formula or technique these two are using, right? How else in the world could they be this good?

Well, after just a few days of catching Chris Paul, cameras caught Devin Booker doing the exact same thing today. And the star didn’t even look like he was trying to hide it anymore.

Now for all of those that are scoffing at us right now, we thought it was a joke at first too! But how else are they this good at contested mid-range jumpers? It’s like the defense doesn’t even matter!

Okay jokes aside though, it has become a nice little running gag within the Phoenix Suns organization. It’s honestly nice to see a few light-hearted jokes during this high-tension atmosphere. And we wouldn’t be surprised if other players on the roster started doing it as well. It sure wouldn’t be the worst team-bonding exercise.

Secret stuff or not though, the Suns do have the advantage in the series at the moment. Can they take this momentum all the way? Or do the Milwaukee Bucks have it in them to turn the tide around?

Only time will tell.
