‘What kind of music are high school kids listening to’: Charles Barkley gets a lesson on modern day music from Rick and Morty’s Summer
NBA Analyst Charles Barkley gets schooled by Summer from Rick and Morty about music and what the youth like to listen to these days
Inside the NBA has been airing on TNT since 1989. Ever since then, there has been a lot of content generated from that one show. The show really took off when they got Charles Barkley with them in 2000. There was a sudden banter amongst hosts, which made the show even more fun to the audience. It became a staple when they got Shaquille O’Neal with them in 2012 as well.
Since then, Inside the NBA is always full of fun, along with analysis. The crew keep playing tricks on each other and have their antics, which keep themselves and the viewers entertained. Recently, Chuck roasted Kenny Smith and Shaq for wearing matching outfits to the studio. Not long ago, Chuck pretended to blow up Shaq’s car by pressing his guarantee button. The antics on that show never stop.
Charles Barkley and Inside the NBA get a surprise visit from Summer(Rick and Morty)
The Inside the NBA crew had a fun crossover today, as they had Summer from Rick and Morty on air with them. Summer plays the role of Morty’s sister and Rick’s granddaughter on the show. She’s a high schooler and a teenager.
Charles Barkley found this as a great opportunity to get to know about the youth. He asked Summer about the kind of music high-schoolers listen to nowadays. Summer replied and named artists like Lil Nas X, Juice WRLD. She also added another artist called Ashnikko.
“You guys have no idea who I’m talking about do you?”

Later she realized that she’d lost the room, and made a joke about the same.
It was a fun episode on Inside the NBA yet again. Hopefully these guys keep up with the good work for the long run.
