“Where was Jimmy Butler when Dwyane Wade and LeBron James were missing free throws for us?”: D-Wade’s saucy reply to a Heat fan’s comment on the Bam Adebayo video
Dwyane Wade had a smart, yet truthful reply to a bantering Heat fan. This Twitter exchange came on a post of Jimmy Butler eyeing Bam Adebayo.
The Heat registered a relatively easy 107-98 win over Portland on Sunday night. Bam received a pair of free throws with 4 minutes left in the final period. Bam seemed to sense that Butler would be memeing as he turned back, and his suspicions were confirmed.

Bam later tweeted about this incident, calling Jimmy his ‘disapproving lil bro’. It was all in good humor obviously as the Heat secured a blowout win a few plays after this one.
Dwyane Wade replies saucily after catching a stray on the Jimmy Butler video
A Heat fan replied a bit endearingly to this Sportscenter video on Twitter, enquiring about Butler’s whereabouts at the start of the 2010s:
“Where was Jimmy Butler when Dwyane Wade and LeBron James was missing our free throws lol,”
D-Wade probably noted the benevolent, mischievous tone of this comment, which is why he dignified it with an appropriate response:
“On the bench taking notes of what not to do when he becomes a superstar.”

Butler knows the importance of clutch free throws, having made a few of them through his playoff career. His most iconic playoff moments perhaps were his free throws in Game 5 of last year’s NBA Finals.
D-Wade and LeBron have had varying degrees of success from the charity stripe through the course of their careers.
