The New Orleans Pelicans are rolling right now. The franchise stands as the 1st seed in the Western Conference right now and is currently on a 6-game winning streak. Better yet, they have won a whopping 8 games out of the last 10.

Brandon Ingram was even missing during a part of this stretch due to a toe injury.
Despite not being at full strength, this young team is giving the NBA’s hierarchy some major problems. So, when they were set to clash against the Suns, fans from all parts of the NBA community were more than just a little excited.
Next thing you know, the Pelicans even leave them beat, with the final score standing at 117-128. But, there wasn’t just the final score to discuss at the end of the game.
No, there was a whole lot more to talk about.
Zion Williamson threw down an electrifying dunk in the dying seconds of the game, and Chris Paul and the Suns took offense
Zion Williamson is finally healthy, and back out on the court, doing all the things fans have been dreaming he’d do for a very, very long time.
So, when he pulls off something such as this, fans can do nothing but rejoice.
ZION MY GOODNESS🔥🔥🔥

But apparently, the Suns weren’t too happy with it, because what came next was every official’s worst fear as it all went down.
Chris Paul and the Suns got mad… despite having done the same thing themselves, Kendrick Perkins reacts
As you would expect, the Suns, true to their nature, had a lot to say, and do on the matter.
And so, without any further ado, here is their reaction on the matter.
Suns vs. Pelicans after Zion’s late game dunk. 👀

After it happened Kendrick Perkins, a man that doesn’t often say things the general public agrees with, released a statement that couldn’t have described the NBA community’s thoughts any better.
I don’t know why the hell CP3 and his teammates are mad at Zion’s nasty 360 windmill for, be mad about the other 136 points you gave up! Carry on…
— Kendrick Perkins (@KendrickPerkins) December 10, 2022
What makes it worse yet, is that a fan later came forward in the reply section of this tweet, that the Suns do the exact same thing themselves.

To dish it out, you must be able to take it too. And given that they can’t do that, frankly, this feels nothing more than a child’s tantrum by Chris Paul and his crew.
More than anything, this is the kind of act that solidifies all the terrible rumors and criticisms about the Point God’s actions, and who he is as a person.
The Suns are a very good team in the Western Conference. But, at this rate, they will never have anyone’s respect that stays outside of the state of Arizona.
