Bronny James has quite a lot of pressure placed on his shoulders. He was born as the eldest son to perhaps the greatest NBA player the league has ever seen in LeBron James. Alongside with this, he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and work towards a life of professional basketball.

To add even more weight to what he has chosen for himself, not only is he constantly compared to LeBron, he also hears his father go on national television and repeatedly say that he wants him to make the NBA so that he could play with him.
Despite all of this, Bronny has earned himself a net worth of $10 million through various endorsement and NIL deals with top tier brands like PSD, Beats by Dre, and of course, Nike. Along with this, he’s also a top recruit for his class of 2023 going into this year’s collegiate basketball season.
Bronny James should be compared to Dwyane Wade rather than his father
It’s natural to compare a player’s child to them as after all, they are related. Everything Bronny James knows about the game of basketball was most probably taught to him by his dad. So, when seeing him dish out passes from the top of the key or drive into the lane, it’s easy to compare him to his old man.
However, one particular aspect of his game that perhaps resembles someone else is his dunk package. Not every single one of his dunks. Perhaps his most viral one from this past year was when he drove straight into the lane from near the top of the key driving left and finishing with his right hand.
What makes this interesting is that he finished quit explosively while tending away from the basket. One of the best dunkers, if not the best, when it comes to moving away from the hoop was Dwyane Wade, LeBron’s old Heat and Cavs teammate.
So, with these similarities in pace, fans have started to question whether the 6’3 Sierra Canyon guard is closer to the 6’5 Wade or his own father.
Bronny James college offers
Bronny James, according to ESPN, has received a plethora of offers from some of the top basketball programs across the nation. Duke, UNC, Kentucky, and Oregon are just a few of the top tier schools that have shown a great deal of interest in him.
However, one school that may edge them all out is Ohio State. He did visit their campus last year along with LeBron James and even hinted towards possibly joining the Buckeyes come 2023.
