“Y’all gonna give Chris Paul more RESPECT one day”: Ja Morant congratulates the Suns star after an incredible Game 4 performance and sweep of the Denver Nuggets
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant demands the NBA community to do this after Chris Paul leads the Suns to a sweep of the Nuggets.
Ja Morant is undeniably one of the most exciting young players in the NBA right now. The young point guard’s vision is incredible, almost as if he has been a veteran for years.
So, given that he is one of the better playmakers in the NBA, we’d imagine he understands the greatness of Chris Paul better than mere fans or analysts ever could.
Given that the Point-God is one of his many idols, Morant was likely watching every game of this series keenly. And after the conclusion of it, the player took to Twitter to tell the entire NBA community what they owe the Suns star. And frankly, we are inclined to agree with him on this one.

Ja Morant believes that fans and analysts alike need to show more respect for the greatness of Chris Paul
During his time with the Rockets, Chris Paul was often surrounded by a whirlwind of criticism. Many believed that his injuries in the postseason were a sign of his losing battle with father time, and it was popularly assumed that the player was on the road to a steep decline.
Fast forward a couple of years, and at 36-years-old, the player is playing his best basketball. He is arguably the best player on a contending team. And given the support he has around him, the Point God has a real chance to become an NBA champion.
Throughout this time, CP3 has been proving critics wrong let and right. And it appears Ja Morant is here for all of it, posting this on Twitter recently.
y’all gon give cp3 more RESPECT one day 💯🤝#PointGod

We absolutely agree with the Grizzlies star here. The player has been a tad bit underrated for a while now. Of course, he is finally not being accused of regression anymore, but that isn’t quite enough.
Chris Paul clearly stands among the greatest players of all time. And we hope that he can finally win a ring to further solidify that.
