Neymar hits back at PSG fans after being booed on his return against Strasbourg

Neymar hits back at PSG fans after he was booed by them upon his return against Strasbourg, says every match will seem like away game.

Neymar was under a much reported controversy after being in an alleged dispute with PSG. The Brazilian International wanted to make his transfer back to Barcelona and PSG were convinced but needed a fair price in return.

However, the negotiations failed after both the clubs did not meet to a conclusion. Plus, relationship between the two clubs are in a turmoil. Thus, there were even more disagreements between the representatives of both clubs.

Thus, Neymar had no other choice except to accept his fate at PSG but this transfer saga definitely turned his relationship with PSG fans into sour.

The 27-year-old forward was speculated to receive a hostile reception from Les Parisiens fans, as the Brazilian International was set to make his return into PSG lineup after being freezed out by the club for a while.

The PSG fans turned up to the expectations and booed Neymar throughout the match against Strasbourg. Les Parisiens went even to an extent to bring a banner on which an inscription was directed on Neymar Sr.: ‘sell his son in Villa Mimosa’ – an area in Rio that’s notorious for prostitution.

Post-match Neymar addressed the media and talked about his feelings over being called as a ‘Son of a b***h by PSG fans constantly during the match.

“I understand the fans and I know that it was hard for them,” he told reporters after the game. “But from now on I am a PSG player.

“No, I do not have a particular message for them. I am used to being booed throughout my career.

“This time, I will be playing each match as if we were away from home. It is a shame, I have nothing against the fans.

“Everyone knew that I wanted to leave. I said it and I repeated it. I do not want to go into details. The page is turned. I am a PSG player and now I am going to give everything on the pitch.”

Despite all the abuses, Neymar was the reason PSG could fetch three points in this game, as the Brazilian forward scored an outrageous winner in the final minutes of the game.
