Neymar on Man Utd clash: Paris Saint Germain will take on Manchester United in the round-of-16 of the Champions League.

Manchester United will be up against PSG in the round-of-16 of the Champions League. After a disappointing start to the season, the Old Trafford outfit is cruising under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The side is yet to drop points under the Norwegian caretaker manager. However, they face a tough test in PSG who are yet to lose a single game in the Ligue 1 this season.

With a star-studded forward line-up of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe, the Paris side is expected to create trouble for Manchester United’s defence, who has bee shaky ever since the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Neymar has made a massive claim over the clash against Manchester United ahead of the game.

Neymar on Man Utd clash:

The Brazilian forward stated that PSG are in good form, and fired warning at Manchester United that the side is ‘winning everything’ at the moment.

“We are winning everything,” Neymar told Canal+. “The Champions League is every footballer’s dream.”


The forward stated that the team is confident of defeating Manchester United but acknowledged that they are a ‘great’ side.

“We realise it is difficult, but our team can do it. We have high-quality players, we can aim high. We are on the right path.

“We have a great match coming up [against Manchester United]. It will be a great match for football lovers, and we are happy to face great teams.”

The game against Manchester United will also see Angel Di Maria facing his former club. The Argentine attacker joined Old Trafford in the-then club’s record transfer but left United merely a year later after tensions with manager Louis van Gaal.

He also spoke about his time at Manchester United earlier this month.

“I only stayed for one year. It was not the best time of my career, or rather I was not allowed to spend my best time there,” Di Maria told France Bleu.

“There were complications with the coach at the time.

“But thank God, I was able to come to PSG and demonstrate again who I was.”
