Neymar Transfer move: Ed Woodward declines Neymar swap offer for Manchester United superstar

Neymar Transfer move: Ed Woodward reportedly denied Neymar’s move to Manchester United in an offer to give Paul Pogba in return to PSG.

Manchester United are in danger of losing Paul Pogba this summer, after the French International fueled his transfer speculations by giving a controversial statement. However, the Red Devils are reluctant to sell the player this ummer.

The English giants are so determined to keep the World Cup winning player that according to a report by the Express, Ed Woodward refused an offer by PSG to hire the services of Neymar in a swap deal.

The Brazilian International is set to make a move out of PSG this summer after falling out with Les Parisiens, and reported to be lined with several club.

It is further reported that the French giants are willing to make a swap deal offer because if PSG goes to sign Pogba directly, then it will be a very costly affair for the Ligue 1 winners and vice-versa.

However, it seems, Manchester United have several reasons to keep Neymar away from the Old Trafford, as his disciplinary issues are a major concern.

Additionally, it is believed Neymar gets paid around £900,000-a-week, which would be double even what Alexis Sanchez is paid, and could further increase the financial burden on the club.

Moreover, Woodward is still keen to keep the 26-year-old at the club as he is still a crucial element in the team, and massively valued by the club, even after opposition he is receiving presently.

Hence, it seems, this deal would not take-off as the Red Devils are not ready to lose their best player for Neymar, who is amidst major crisis in his career.

Barcelona still seem interested in the player and are gradually moving near to acquire the player once again. However, there are no official reports to validate these speculations.
