Sport have reported that Neymar has become the cause of rift between Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and manager Zinedine Zidane. Barcelona are more or less out of the running for Neymar’s signatures. Especially after signing Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid for a whopping €120 million fee. Perez wants to take advantage of this situation and bring in the Brazilian he has admired for so long.
Zidane Vs Perez
Perez is keen to bring the forward to the Santiago Bernabeu. He believes that Neymar is the most marketable player in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. With Ronaldo’s departure, he believes that there is a gap in the club he desires to fill with Neymar.

Zinedine Zidane on the other hand does not see Neymar as part of his plans. The Frenchman would rather have Manchester United star Paul Pogba instead. He is of the opinion that new signing Eden Hazard is the ideal player to fill the void left with the departure of the former Manchester United striker.
While Perez is on the hunt for a new Galactico, a man who’s arrival would bring them huge media attention and press, Zidane’s reasons are more on field related.
