Bert Kreischer, also known as ‘The Machine’, loves to party. Being drunk and having some chit-chat with top celebrities happens to be his part-time gig. Recently, he had a fun time with the Niners’ superstar, Christian McCaffrey, where he cornered the Running Back, trying to lure him into making a $10,000 bet. The moment was pure gold as Bert described the entire incident on the Rich Eisen show.

McCaffrey has been a valuable asset for the San Francisco 49ers ever since he relocated to the west coast last year. He rose to prominence as one of the most talented youngsters with his blazing abilities and top-notch rushing skills. Kreischer, who was curious to know about an NFL player’s strength, tried challenging the Stanford product at a party.

Bert Kreischer had quite the party with Christian McCaffrey

Running Backs are often athletic, as the position demands extreme amounts of dedication and hard work. They work as pass catchers, rushers, and tacklers, possessing dual-threat abilities to aid their quarterbacks. Kreischer, who understands this notion quite well, tried to create an uncomfortable situation for Christian McCaffrey after spotting him at a party.

“I got real drunk and cornered Christian McCaffrey. And I was drunk, and i go hey, do you think I could catch you?” the comedian said on The Rich Eisen Show.

“And he goes what? I said, in this room, $10,000. If I can catch you. And he was like, what are you talking about? I said give me twenty minutes. Do you think i’d ever catch you? Catch and hold you down? He’s like; Hey man, there are dudes that are 10 times better than you. You can train all year and can’t catch me. He goes, i don’t think you can catch me. I go, you want to try? He’s like what kind of party is this turning into?” Bert added.

Needless to say, McCaffrey was caught off guard after listening to Bert’s weird request. After all, not many footballers get such requests from drunk celebrities at high-end parties. In the end, it all panned out nicely and everyone had a good laugh about the whole situation.

Christian McCaffrey is enjoying his stay in San Francisco

The 26-year-old RB entered the NFL arena as one of the most promising prospects. As a result, the Panthers drafted him in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft. His sheer dominance was on full display in his rookie season. In fact, Christian became only the third player in league history to record 1,000+ rushing and receiving yards in a single season. It happened in 2019, while he was still associated with the Panthers.

Last season, Christian got traded to San Francisco for a couple of 2023 picks after playing six games in Carolina. Although he was disappointed in the beginning, the youngster mentioned it as the best move of his life. “I firmly believe it’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” McCaffrey said in an interview, per the Daily Mail.

Despite shifting to a new city, the youngster continued his impressive run with 749 rushing yards and six touchdowns in 11 games during the 2022 season. McCaffrey surpassed the 1,000-yard mark and earned Pro Bowl honors. It will be interesting to see how far the young gun reaches in his professional career.
