DeAndre Hopkins, the star wide receiver of the Arizona Cardinals wants to join a new franchise. Hopkins‘ future hangs in the balance, as the team will only trade the five-time Pro Bowler if they receive considerable offers from other franchises in the days leading up to the NFL draft. Therefore, this leaves Hopkins in the dark, as he still does not know which team he will play for in 2023.

Despite his desire to play for another team, DeAndre has at large stayed silent when it came to trade talks. Although it would not be an issue if the three-time first-team All-Pro wide receiver stayed with the Cardinals, the fans are excited to know where the Cardinal receiver would want to play. Hence, his trade talk became one of the hottest topics this offseason.
DeAndre Hopkins assesses potential landing spots
CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden put Hopkins on the spot when he asked to react to the names of the teams he would love to play for. But the catch in the game was, the WR was not allowed to speak a single word. Instead, he was instructed to convey his interest through gestures and body language.
Hopkins did not show much interest when McFadden took the names of the Patriots and the New York Jets. However, he looked very pleased when he heard the names of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

This funny video went viral instantly. Fans and analysts were quick to react to it. One of the famous personalities to respond to the video was the former Indianapolis Colts punter, wrestler, and podcaster, Pat McAfee.
McAfee gives his honest reaction on Hopkins’ situation
On his hit podcast, The Pat McAfee Show, the former athlete reviewed and discussed the video. He thought that the Chiefs were a logical match for the 30-year-old player. But since Hopkins is not looking for a pay raise (he deleted the tweet which he sent out on Sunday), “everybody’s going to be p*ssed off about that. ”
“It makes sense that he wants to go there; this is all of the Arizona Cardinals will trade him.”
As the conversation went on, Pat McAfee introduced a crazy idea: what if the Baltimore Ravens picked him? Though the deal will be difficult to come through because they paid OBJ $18 million and will have to pay Lamar Jackson a franchise tag of around $32 million a year.
It will be interesting to see where Hopkins finally ends up.
