Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Deion Sanders, and other NFL veterans along with thousands of fans joined hands to put up prayers for the NFL legend Michael Irvin and his family. In his most recent post on social media, Irvin was seen standing next to the coffin with an emotional message as the caption dedicated to the loved one that he had recently lost.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver shared the heartbreaking news on Saturday giving a glimpse of the funeral that he was attending. Although it is not yet known whom he had lost but saddened by the tragic news, Irvin’s friends and fans chimed in to support him through the tough time.

As soon as Michael Irvin took to social media Saturday morning, prayers started pouring in for him and his family. “Leaving time going to eternity to be with God,” the caption of the post read. It was certainly a sad day and his friends made sure to send in their love. Deion Sanders, who took an embarrassing defeat the night before against Stanford, took no time to send in his prayers. “Praying for u my brother,” Deion wrote.

Furthermore, the WWE legend and a friend of the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Dwayne Johnson also took to the comment section to write, “Sorry my brother, stay strong.” Former Cowboys RB Emmitt Smith too sent his love by saying, “Sending Love and prayers to you & your family my brother. Condolences.”
Not to mention the love and support that was pouring in from the fans was certainly comforting. One fan said, “Deepest condolences my brother, losing a loved one is never easy. I’ve lost 4 in the past year and a half. God’s got you! Praying for your family.” While another stated, “Hang in there Michael! Praying for you and your family!”
Irvin Has Faced Big Personal Losses In the Past
Although it is never easy to lose a loved one but this wasn’t the first time that Michael Irvin lost someone close to him. In 2015, the Cowboys legend sadly lost his mother Pearl Irvin. And Irvin was only 17 years old when his father Walter Irvin died of cancer in 1983.
It was certainly sad to see the much-loved NFL legend turned broadcaster lose a loved one. However, his fans and friends made sure to keep sending him heartwarming prayers with love and support.
