Cleveland Browns’ QB Deshaun Watson is a lucky guy. Apart from a massive $230 million guaranteed contract, he has also been blessed with a partner who is willing to stick with him through thick and thin. Model and influencer Jilly Anais, Watson’s girlfriend since 2019, turned 27 a couple of days ago. As a testament to his love, Watson wrote a heartwarming message for her on her birthday.

Watson took to Instagram to wish Anais on her birthday. “Happy QUEEN Day Luv!!!! Today is your day!!!! May The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace! & Continue to bless you with many more years of happiness, love, and success!” the post read.
He doesn’t stop there, either. Calling her his “twin”, he writes, “You will achieve whatever you desire my twin! 💛🤞🏾You know this shii 4ever set in stone!!!! 🔒 I love you shorty! It’s only UP from here! Take over the WORLD! 🙏🏾💯 Big Dawg Shii! 💪🏾“
His message came as a caption to a wonderful set of images of them together, and happy. Fans showered the couple with praise, and congratulated them on their successful relationship, even in the face of adversity.
Jilly Anais stuck with Deshaun Watson during troubled times for the QB
The couple faced their biggest hardship in 2021 when Watson was sued by multiple women for sexual harassment and sexual assault. Watson denied the accusations, and two separate grand juries acquitted him of criminal charges. Since then, 21 of the 22 civil lawsuits have been settled out of court.
The NFL, however, decided that Watson had to face punishment for his actions. After reaching an agreement with the NFL Players Association, the NFL handed Watson an 11-week suspension and a $5 million fine. Watson was then traded to the Cleveland Browns, who offered him a five-year, $230 million guaranteed contract.
Watson’s five games with the Browns have been good. Although he had a slow start, he got up to pace quickly. He impressed everyone during the Browns’ win over the Washington Commanders on January 1, which he says was “A good day, especially to start 2023. And what the future is going to hold for the Cleveland Browns.”
Unfortunately for Watson, the Browns are already out of playoff contention, putting to bed any thoughts he might have had of making a breakthrough in this year’s playoffs. However, he only has played a few games, and judging by his performance, the Browns could be a decent threat next year. Will we see the Browns duke it out for the AFC championship next season?
