Last Sunday wasn’t really a memorable one for the Buccaneers fans. Their star quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t able to work his magic against the 49ers and as expected, the team from Tampa Bay ended up suffering a humiliating defeat.

How dominant the 49ers were can be understood from the fact that the Bucs weren’t allowed to score a single point until halftime. The team from San Francisco gained a mammoth 28 point lead by the end of the second quarter which was more than enough to annihilate the Bucs.
It was indeed a confidence shattering defeat for the veteran QB’s unit. However, someone’s loss is someone else’s gain. While it was a terrible day for Tom, it proved to be an unforgettable evening for young quarterback Brock Purdy.
Erin Andrews’ Father Was Greatly Moved By Brock Purdy’s Performance
The 49ers have been plagued by injuries which isn’t something unusual in this league. So the management decided to give a chance to Brock against the GOAT and as it turns out, the young man ended up scripting history.
For 185 yards, Brock ended up scoring two touchdowns and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it was indeed a dream debut for him, that too against one of the finest in the business.

What made the day even better for Brock is the fact that his father, who was in the stands when his son was running a riot on the field, couldn’t control his tears of joy watching his superstar at the peak of his powers.
As it turns out, renowned sportscaster Erin Andrews’ father was also greatly moved after seeing a few tears in Brock’s father’s eyes. After the game, Andrews revealed that she got a text from her dad about how incredibly cool the father-son moment was and how fantastically the star QB performed.
Indeed, no one can take anything away from Brock who had the best possible start to his career. The 49ers have now improved to 9-4 record this season and it won’t be a surprise if Brock ends up guiding them to a few more wins in the near future.
