Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski’s legacy remains untainted
The future Hall of Famers was the reason behind changing the landscape of modern-day Football to a whole different level. Otherwise, who could have imagined a chap coming out of Michigan selected as a 199th overall pick in the NFL draft of 2000 would script history?
Belichick’s decision to utilize his ticket on Brady became the critical decision of his entire life. And certainly, the Patriots rose to glory as one of the greatest franchises in the history of the NFL. While the veterans enjoyed their free-time post-retirement, Gronk’s long-time partner shared an adorable throwback to their successful journey.
Brady and the former Tight End contributed to four Super Bowl titles together. The chemistry that longed for more than a decade helped them understand each other better and break those existing NFL records.
According to multiple reports, the duo connected for 102 total touchdowns, including their playoff appearances in 11 seasons. Gronk followed the legendary quarterback to Tampa after announcing his retirement. He played for two seasons there and eventually stepped out of the league before the 2022 season.
Brady and Gronk to reunite off the gridiron
Unlike most of the other NFL athletes, the duo has decided to stay connected with football. Gronkowski, who is already serving as an analyst for FOX Sports, will join Brady in 2024 after the veteran signed a 10-year contract last year. He will call the games play-by-play, giving an exclusive experience for all the NFL fans to hear from the best.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what he brings to the booth, and I know he’ll work really hard at it to be great,” Gronkowski said in an interview, per Mirror. “He has so much experience, he knows football, so I think he’s going to be really good at it,” he added. Indeed, fans can expect the announcement anytime soon. Till then, readers can stay tuned for the latest updates.
