Greg Olsen injury update: Veteran says injury will not be his “final moment” in the NFL
Greg Olsen left the Seahawks vs Cardinals game with a fascia injury. At age 35, he denies it to be the end of his career.
Greg Olsen signed with the Seahawks earlier this year, before the 2020 NFL season kicked off. He signed a 1 year $7 million deal. Olsen hasn’t been explosive this year but has still helped on crucial 3rd down plays. However, his season will be cut short because of injury.
Will Greg Olsen come back from his injury?
Here’s what Olsen put up after his injury-

The veteran tight end claims that he won’t let this injury be the end of his career in the NFL. But at such an age it would take him time to recover. There is also no guarantee that he will heal quickly.
Greg Olsen injury update
After the Seahawks beat the Cardinals on Thursday night, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll mentioned he could be back before the season ends. Here’s what he had to say-
Pete Carroll said the timeline he's heard on Greg Olsen and his plantar fascia rupture could be 4-6 weeks but they still don't know for sure yet.

What’s next for the veteran tight end?
The former Panther would have to work hard if he wants to make it back this season. He was a key piece for the Seahawks at gaining quick short first downs.
Luckily, the Seahawks have plenty of talent and depth at the tight end position. Will Dissly, Jacob Hollister and Colby Parkinson will now get many more snaps.
