Have the Cowboys ever beat Tom Brady? Tom Brady's record against Dallas on the line in Wild Card matchup

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are all set to take on the Dallas Cowboys tonight, and with that matchup set, Brady’s record against Dallas comes into question.

The NFL GOAT is entering this playoff run in uncharted territory. Brady has never been part of a team that had a losing record, and yet, here the Bucs are. They lost the final game of the regular season, of which the starters only played the first half, to finish the year at 8-9.

However, the NFC South was so weak this year that the Bucs clinched the division with a week 17 win against the Carolina Panthers. Thus, they’ll be hosting Dallas despite having a worse record.

Brady and the Bucs matched up against the Cowboys earlier in week 1, but a lot has changed since then. Both teams embarked on different trajectories since then, and they’ll be meeting each other in completely different circumstances now.

Tom Brady record vs. Dallas Cowboys: Have the Cowboys ever beat Tom Brady?

Brady has faced off against the Dallas Cowboys 7 times in his career, and to sum it up, he hasn’t lost a single time against them. He played them 5 times with the Patriots and another 2 times with the Buccaneers.

Here’s a quick look at all 7 matchups. In week 11 of the 2003 season, the Patriots shut out the Cowboys 12-0 in a matchup of two legendary coaches in Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells. Brady didn’t have a great day against Dallas, going 15/34 for 212 yards and no touchdowns, but the Pats found a way to win.

In the 2007 season, the Pats and Cowboys faced off in a high-octane matchup. The game was hyped up incredibly beforehand as both teams entered at 5-0. However, the Cowboys were no match for New England that day. Brady rolled to 388 passing yards and 5 touchdowns as the Pats won 48-27, a dominant win in their 16-0 campaign.

In the 2011 season, Brady and the Pats would eke out a victory against Dallas, 20-16. In 2015, they enjoyed another dominant performance, winning 30-6.

In Brady’s final matchup against Dallas with the Pats, the defense led the way in a foggy night as the Pats scraped a 13-9 win. In the last two years, Brady has hosted Dallas in the first week of the season, winning 31-29 last year and 19-3 this year. Simply put, Brady has dominated Dallas.
