The Philadelphia Eagles are still deciding who will start at quarterback when the offence takes the field on Sunday in a crucial game against the New Orleans Saints.

I had the opportunity to visit the staff of the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at @PennMedicine and show my appreciation to the healthcare workers for their tireless efforts. Let this be a reminder to spread love and gratitude this holiday season and beyond.#Ad pic.twitter.com/CexXXgrRmH

Of course, the Eagles are hoping that a victory this Sunday will secure them the top seed in the NFC playoff picture.. Hurts, 24, missed last week’s game against the Cowboys due to a sprained shoulder and did not play this week either.
Hurts was expected to miss at least two games while his shoulder heal. No one can question his toughness or desire to play, but the Eagles must be wise and keep him from suffering any more injuries.
Jalen Hurts’ Injury Update
Hurts was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and was listed as questionable on the team’s injury report for Week 17’s game against the Saints.

It looks like Jalen will miss another game. He injured his throwing shoulder against the Chicago Bears in Week 15 after falling to the icy ground. He continued to play for the remainder of the Bears’ contest, but was unable to attend last Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys due to an injury.
Hurts showed accuracy when throwing to receivers during practice on Thursday, according to Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, but it appears the team is being cautious with Hurts, which is not a bad thing.
the star QB is questionable, so Gardner Minshew will probably get to start for the Eagles. Minshew performed admirably against the Cowboys, completing 24 of his 40 passes for 355 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. It was his first start since the Cowboys game in the regular season finale of 2021.
In addition to securing the NFC East title, the Eagles will also benefit from home-field advantage in the playoffs and a bye week if they triumph. Since the Eagles would probably rest their starters and give Hurts a total of four weeks off if he doesn’t play, the main concern going into the postseason would be rust.
