Joe Burrow has emerged as one of the most clutch quarterbacks in recent years. The Cincinnati Bengals were so impressed by his performance that they decided to go with his fifth-year option. In his first three seasons in the NFL, he earned over $30 million. Hence, one may wonder what the star quarterback does with all his money.

The 26-year-old, with the help of his parents, Jimmy and Robin Burrow, started the Joe Burrow Foundation. The charitable organization supports individuals with mental health issues and also lends a helping hand to families in need. Recently, Joe’s father appeared on The Mental Game Podcast where he revealed that his family thought about doing something for the society by making an important and heartfelt contribution to 20 families.
Joe Burrow agrees to pay for 20 children and their families who are receiving mental health treatment
Jim Burrow recounted how the former Heisman winner was given a list of 20 families receiving medical treatment at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The initial plan for the family was to narrow the list down and pay some medical bills.

During the process, Joe came to the realization that all 20 families receiving mental health treatment were deserving recipients. Instead of narrowing down the list, he made the decision to pay the medical bills for each and every one of them.
Joe’s father said, “The families had trouble paying the bills, so we started out thinking ‘Well, how many can we pay?'” There were about 20 of them and we couldn’t decide (who to help), so we basically paid for 20 families’ mental health bills.”
As one can expect, Joe’s contribution earned him high praise on Twitter, with several people urging the league to produce more stars like him.
Regardless of what team you support… This is what its all about.

One of the most loved athletes in the States, Burrow is set to receive a contract extension in the near future. And after looking at the way people are showering praise on him, along with the kind of performances he has put up in the last couple of seasons, the Bengals are expected to offer him a gigantic deal.
Bengals have unending faith in Joe Burrow
As expected, Cincinnati opted to pick up the fifth-year option for star quarterback Joe Burrow. While it is widely anticipated that the Bengals will soon give a blockbuster contract to mighty Joe, the real question is, how much is Burrow expected to fetch annually? To answer this question, Spotrac, calculated Burrow’s market value which suggests that $53.7 Million worth annual salary is what the QB can expect from his franchise.

Burrow won a College Football Playoff National Championship during his final season at LSU. Since joining the NFL, he has played a pivotal role in turning the Bengals’ fortunes around, leading the team to consecutive AFC championships and one Super Bowl appearance.
Even though he suffered a knee injury during his rookie campaign, Burrow bounced back in 2021 and helped his team advance to the 2022 Super Bowl. It was only after Burrow’s arrival that the team won a postseason game in over 30 years. Hence, the Bengals will keep doing everything in their capacity to keep him in the unit.
