Britt Reid, Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid’s Son, was involved in a multi-car accident. Reid was supposedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

Britt Reid also serves as the assistant coach for the Chiefs with his father Andy Reid. The incident comes just days before Super Bowl 55.

How Much Did Britt Reid Have to Drink?
After the crash, Reid admitted to officers that he had two to three drinks before the crash. The accident took place near the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice facility on interstate 435.
After the crash, cops arrived at the scene and could smell alcohol on Reid’s breath. They also noticed that Reid’s eyes were bloodshot, and eventually Britt Reid confessed to having a few drinks.

Luckily for everyone involved, there were no deaths. The crash was deadly as it involved multiple cars and took place on a fast-moving highway.
While driving on the interstate at around 9 p.m., a truck had pulled over because it had run out of gas. Another car, had stopped to assist the truck driver.
Britt Reid rammed into both vehicles resulting in the crash. In the car, there were two kids involved as well, one of which suffered life-threatening injuries. Updates remain to be published, but for now, everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with all the people involved.
This crash may have some implications on the upcoming Super Bowl. Head Coach Andy Reid may be very emotional and vulnerable at the moment, and so the crash could affect his mindset. However, he hasn’t changed his travel plans and he still will attend the Super Bowl.
