On Sunday, December 25, the Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will lock horns at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Speaking of enormous disappointment, Tom Brady and the 6-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing a 4-10 Arizona Cardinals team that has no chance of making the playoffs. To maintain their lead over the NFC South and win the division, Brady and company must win this game.

The Cardinals are currently in third place in the NFC West with a 4-10 record after last week’s 24-15 loss to the Denver Broncos. Marquise Brown, the starting wide receiver for the Cardinals, competed in his ninth game last week.
Brown was in good health prior to the Week 15 game, but his status was listed as questionable following practice on Wednesday. He most likely suffered a groin injury on Wednesday during team practice. He was only allowed to work the following two days, and his status for the weekend is uncertain.
Marquise Brown’s Injury Update
Marquise Brown might play against the Buccaneers, but he probably won’t get as many snaps. Due to a groin injury, Marquise was listed as limited on Thursday. He wasn’t listed on the injury report on Wednesday, which is why this is concerning.

If Brown is able to play on Sunday, third-string quarterback Trace McSorley will be the one handing him the ball, so he already has a demotion. Brown should not be held to the same high expectations as McSorley. However, if he participates, he is still a good player who gets targets in a game where the wind chill is not 30 below.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is in his fourth NFL season. On November 26, he was made available for the team’s Week 12 game. In a loss to the Chargers during his comeback, he had 6 receptions for 46 yards.
