"Mom Beat you to the NFL HOF", Travis Kelce teases Jason Kelce as Donna’s jersey and shoes make it to the canton before Tom Brady

Super Bowl LVII has significant importance in the NFL record books. It was the first championship game between two black quarterbacks locking horns for the coveted Lombardi trophy. Moreover, it was quite special for the Kelce family because the two brothers played against each other. The Eagles center, Jason Kelce, and the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis, competed for their corresponding teams. While speaking about the historic moment, the duo teased each other on their renowned New Heights podcast and hailed their momma, Donna Kelce, for getting her name enshrined in the NFL Hall of Fame.

The pro football facility at Canton signifies great memories of the legends who gave their everything for the betterment of this sport. Getting a spot in one of those showcases happens to be a great achievement. While Donna became the world’s first mom to unlock this achievement, fans have been comparing her accomplishment with that of Tom Brady.

Travis and Jason Kelce are super proud of their mom

It was indeed a memorable moment for Donna Kelce to cheer for her entire life. She was the only mother present at the stadium who was happy and sad at the same time.

While Travis Kelce lifted the Lombardi, Donna rejoiced with a sense of great fulfillment; however, looking at her elder son, Jason, she couldn’t control her tears. What’s worth remembering is the attire that she wore for Super Bowl LVII. It was a split jersey that had the Chiefs in the front and the Eagles in the back. Likewise, she also wore a mixed set of sneakers.

As soon as the game wrapped up, the Hall of Fame committee requested Donna to display her split jersey and sneakers at the facility. She became the first mom to be inducted into these prestigious memorabilia. The Kelce brothers recently discussed this achievement in their New Heights podcast, where both of them looked super happy and took a dig at Tom Brady

Jason asked his brother whether his shoes could make it into the Hall of Fame. Travis, with utmost pride, claimed to have seen the showcase room before and hit back, saying, “Mom beat you to the NFL HoF”.

The Eagles Center then shared a story about his mummers’ parade jersey, which was supposed to be displayed in the facility but is now thrown somewhere in a trash bag. All in all, it was a wholesome conversation, with Brady at the center of the discussion.

The veteran who decided to call it a career in 2023 will have his chance in the class of 2028. No doubt, he will be the top choice, and committee members will have to vote in his favor. More than 80% of the votes are required to unlock this title. Looking at his career records and the impact he has created, it would be a shame if someone tried to botch the session by voting against him.
