“No Car Is Going to Run on Avocado Ice-Cream” : Peyton Manning Once Trolled Tom Brady Over His Obsession for Avocado Icecream

Ice cream flavors are one of the most contentious topics in modern times. Everyone has a favorite flavor that they will defend to the ends of the earth. For NFL legend Tom Brady, that flavor (weirdly) is Avocado. As expected, people didn’t let it fly. Even Hall of Famer Peyton Manning joined in on the fun once, trolling Brady for his preference.

Peyton is known for his humor, and for pulling everyone’s legs. He and his brother Eli are quickly becoming one of the most popular entertainment pair in the NFL community. Their show ‘Manningcast’ is developing into a humor-filled commentary of Monday Night Football games, which has garnered them a lot of fans. Though, it seems trolling people is still Payton’s forte.

Peyton Manning roasts Tom Brady on his love for avocado ice cream

TB12’s love for avocado ice cream is no secret. In fact, he has been vocal about his favorite flavor, even putting up videos of his recipe for the same. This comes out of his rather strict diet plan, the TB12 method, which he gives credit for being able to play this long. However, that did not stop Peyton from making fun of his choice of ice cream.

During a segment for ESPN+, Peyton and Eli Manning were talking about cars named after famous football players and coaches. They both agreed that a car named after Bill Belichick would run purely on Lawrence Taylor anecdotes. However, when Eli mentioned ‘The Brady Roadster’, Peyton said, “I don’t think any car is going to run on avocado ice cream. Besides, who wants a car that lost to an Eli?”

For context, Eli Manning and Tom Brady faced off against each other twice for the Super Bowl. Both times, Eli came out on top, which Peyton suggests has made TB12 hate him. Another instance Peyton brought this up was when right after TB12 retired, Peyton got an invite to his show ‘Let’s Go!’, while Eli did not.

TB12 pushes Fox Sports debut to 2024

It seems Tom Brady’s retirement life may be a tad bit busier than he imagined. With his production company and his clothing line taking off, Brady is busy managing his portfolios. Not to forget, he is setting aside a lot of time to spend with his loved ones. Especially his children, with whom he spends quite a lot of his time.

Brady also has a massive lawsuit against him and a bunch of other people, including his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. The lawsuit, which amounts to $3 billion, arises from Brady’s endorsement of the now-defunct crypto company, FTX. Brady’s commercials for them, now taken down, have made him an intricate part of what is alleged to be a scam in itself.

All the personal stuff aside, TB12 is undoubtedly the best QB the NFL has ever had. Even though his choice of ice cream flavors is questionable, there is no doubt that he’ll make it into the Hall of Fame on the first try. Though, he will not be expecting to hold onto his crown forever. With Patrick Mahomes charging his way to the top, how long can Brady remain the GOAT?
