MLB star Derek Jeter once owned a mega-luxurious mansion in Tampa, Florida. The mansion was called St. Jettersburg and was also rented by NFL GOAT Tom Brady. However, due to lack of privacy, Brady and his family moved out, and then the envious property was sold for a whopping $22.5 million in 2021. Now, the new owners of the mansion have reportedly decided to tear it down.

Tom Brady and his former wife, Gisele Bündchen, moved from Boston to Florida in 2021 and rented the stunning seven-bedroom property, which was worth $29 million. The price is justified because the mansion boasts amenities that are just out of this world.

The luxurious Tampa residence includes a spacious six-car garage, two boat lifts, and approximately 9,000 square feet of outdoor area. It offers an impressive 80-foot saltwater lap pool with a heated spa, all enclosed by a six-foot-tall privacy wall known locally as ‘The Great Wall of Jeter.’
Stephen Gay from Smith & Associates Real Estate served as the agent for the stunning family home. This remarkable property, often described as a slice of paradise, was listed at an astonishing price of $29 million in 2020, making it one of the highest asking prices ever seen in the area.

Upon entering through the gated entrance, one is greeted by limestone steps adorned with a Romanesque portico. The front door opens to reveal a breathtaking 24-foot-high foyer surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an exceptional vista of the pool and bay area beyond. To the right of the entrance, one finds a magnificent salon and a clubroom featuring a fully equipped bar, a billiards table, and multiple television screens.
As per Business Insider, after securing the property for a price of $22.5 million, the new owners have submitted an application to demolish the existing structure. There are speculations suggesting their intention to develop multiple houses on the land, reminiscent of its previous state before being acquired by Jeter.
Tom Brady and Bündchen’s impressive real estate portfolio
The former NFL power couple has owned properties all throughout the country. Since their marriage in 2009, Tom and Gisele have jointly owned properties in Los Angeles, New York, Tampa, Montana, and Boston. In fact, before marrying Gisele, Brady lived in a posh, $4,125 million condo in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
He owned a 3,412-square-foot full-floor unit in the Burrage Mansion. It is a late 19th-century French château-style building with gargoyles and cherubs carved on the exterior. In 2006, the former New England Patriots lived in a 5311-square-foot, $6.2 million penthouse on Boston’s Beacon Street. It featured three bedrooms, a living room, and a media room on a separate floor. However, when Brady married Bundchen, he decided to put the property on the market, where it sold for $9.270,000 in 2012.

After the wedding, Tom Brady and Bündchen moved to California, rented a home, and then bought some land next door. There, they built a sprawling, eco-conscious mansion, priced at $11.75 million. Their luxurious home in the Brookline suburb of Boston exudes luxury, but was put on the market and fetched reported $32.5 million in 2014.
