Peyton Manning is having a great time post-retirement, finding ways to stay involved in football. However, he might be more thrilled knowing ‘Emily in Paris’ season 3 came out, a season he almost made a cameo for.

The former Broncos and Colts quarterback mans the booth for ESPN during Monday Night Football. His Manningcast segment with Eli Manning is becoming increasingly popular among viewers who want a casual way to watch the game.
Peyton and Eli joke around throughout the segment, inviting guests on to make fun of or be made fun of. Either way, the Manning brothers never fail to entertain.
Peyton was a dominant force in the NFL when he played, winning two Super Bowls, and taking home a record 5 times. He holds the best season by a quarterback ever when he set records for most yards thrown and most touchdowns thrown.

Peyton Manning is a massive Emily in Paris fan despite not being able to cameo
If you’ve seen Peyton Manning outside of the football world, you should know that he loves Papa John’s and Emily in Paris.
Earlier in the year, Manning appeared on Saturday Night Live on NBC, and despite there being a lot of football going around at the time, Manning was focused on one thing only. He only wanted to talk about Emily in Paris.
January was playoff time, and there was a lot of drama then, including rumors flying that Tom Brady might be retiring. However, none of that mattered to Peyton.

Manning loved Emily in Paris so much that he was all set to cameo in the show’s newly released season 3. Manning was traveling to Paris this summer, and he figured he’d be able to cameo while he was traveling. However, the show switched the filming from Paris to Provence, a full 400 miles away.
Manning couldn’t make it, unfortunately. “Sure, watching football was the safe thing to do,” he said. “That’s what everyone expected me to do. But if I’ve learned anything from Emily, it’s to follow my passions and always be true to myself. The French have a saying, ‘Parlez-vous français?’ which means, ‘You do you, girl.’”
“I had this Paris vacation planned with my wife. I didn’t really want to travel somewhere else to do this show that I wasn’t already in,” he added, also noting he “was crushed about that” and “very disappointed that the cameo role they were planning for me never came together.”
