"Please stop photoshopping my legs onto your body": Eli Manning had jokes for Saquon Barkley after ridiculous workout picture

Saquon Barkley is gearing up for a redemption year in 2021 and is putting in the work ahead of training camp. But in the midst of a crucial year, Eli Manning had some jokes for his former star teammate.

Barkley got off to a hot start in 2018 but cooled down the next couple of years due to the injury bug. Barkley totaled 2,028 yards from scrimmage in 2018 which led all running backs and earned him O-ROY and a Pro Bowl selection in only his rookie season.

However, in 2019, even though Saquon managed to play 13 games, most of these games he played through injury. Remarkably, Barkley still totaled over 1400 yards from scrimmage.

But 2020 was a horrid season for Barkley. With critics questioning whether a RB was deserving of being drafted as high as he was, Saquon Barkley had a lot to prove. But in only his 2nd game of the season, Barkley suffered an ACL tear. That would be the last time he would play for the Giants in 2020.

Ahead of training camp starting on the 27th, Barkley seems to be putting in the work to gain back the confidence of his critics.

Eli Manning had jokes for Saquon’s muscular legs

Eli Manning is a 2-time Super Bowl Champion, 4 time Pro Bowler and has thrown for over 57,000 yards in his career. But he hasn’t always been known for athleticism.

The recently retired Giant poked fun at the 24-year-old running back, claiming that Barkley had photoshopped the 40-year-old’s legs onto his body in the image. “Please stop photoshopping my legs onto your body,” Manning wrote in a tweet replying to Saquon’s workout picture.

Manning has been a fan of ‘Saquads’ ever since he was drafted. He even said, “I don’t often stare at another man’s legs, but in that case, you just can’t quite help it.”

Eli is clearly enjoying retirement. He even poked at Tom Brady earlier.  Looks like we will be seeing a lot more jokes from Manning this upcoming season.
