Stefon Diggs Believes CU Star Travis Hunter Can Be the First Non-QB To Bag $300-$400 Million NFL Contract

Travis Hunter is captivating the entire football world with his generational talent on both sides of the ball. His first two games at CU have shown just how special he is, and NFL stars like Stefon Diggs and Von Miller can’t stop singing his praises. They even believe that Hunter could be the first $300-$400 million non-QB in the NFL.

Stefon Diggs recently sat with Von Miller for the 12th episode of The Voncast and their conversation on Hunter was as interesting as it could get. The Bills stars were left in awe of Hunter’s talent as a one-in-a-million athlete who is not just good at CB but a great asset as a receiver, which he displayed in his first game of the season against TCU.

Stefon Diggs & Von Miller Have High Expectations from Travis Hunter

Stefon Diggs and Von Miller are keeping a close eye on Hunter since he could be an exception when he comes to the NFL. Travis Hunter, according to them, is one such player who could actually get reps on both sides of the ball which will only bring his value to a record high. Stefon believes that the young star’s NFL contract could even break the contract record for a non-QB player.

When Von Miller brought up the point about Travis Hunter getting paid in the NFL, Stefon, without any hesitation, expressed that he could easily be the first to secure a $300-$400 million contract as a non-QB in the league. However, Stefon posed a serious question about Hunter’s entrance in the league.

The Bills WR mentioned that he was curious about who would draft Hunter in the NFL. Will it be a team that is in need of a receiver or a team that is in need of a CB or will it be a team that needs both? Further elaborating on his point, Diggs said that he could be a full-time corner and get receiver reps or he could be the first full-time receiver and get corner reps. But as of now, Travis is doing both for Coach Prime who sees a bright future ahead for the young athlete.

Von Miller Would Want Hunter to Play on Both Sides of the Ball in the NFL

Von Miller is someone who aspires to work in the NFL at the front office for a team in the future, since he feels he has the business acumen to run a team. Donning his GM hat for Hunter, Von stated that if he could draft Hunter for his team, he would want him to play both sides of the ball considering his exceptional skills.

That said, Von even stated that it is going to be just “insane” considering Hunter’s immensely versatile role, and high demand. However, they are not alone in feeling that way since many scouts have predicted Travis Hunter to be a future first-round pick. There is no doubt that Deion Sanders is the main factor in polishing his generational talent and bringing it in front of the world, but it is to be seen if he continues to deliver with the same intensity all season long.
