Andy Reid’s first year in Kansas was anything but a success from his standpoints. So after not getting the playing time he wanted throughout the seasons, Le’Veon Bell took a shot at Andy Reid. And Tyrann Mathieu was having none of it.

Le’Veon Bell signing in Kansas City sent shockwaves around the league. “The rich keep getting richer”. But his first season was not a success by any standards. Bell played 9 games with the Chiefs, with his playing time decreasing throughout his tenure.
And Le’Veon Bell had a reason behind his lack of production. “I’d never play for Andy Reid again … I’d retire first,” Bell said in response to a fan’s comment on an Instagram post.

Tyrann Mathieu called out Le’Veon Bell after his Andy Reid comment.
The Former All-Pro rushed for only 254 yards and 2 scores while catching 13 passes for 99 yards, during his time with the Chiefs. He didn’t play at all in the AFC Championship Game against the Bills or the Super Bowl against the Buccaneers. And played second fiddle to rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire for the major part of the season.
Andy Reid probably feels the same about Le’Veon Bell.

Chiefs defensive stud All-Pro came out in support of his head coach. The 3-time All-Pro took a shot at Bell and his inability to perform. “These fellas will blame everybody for their lack of success. That’s how I know I’m built different,” Mathieu said.

Le’Veon Bell has failed to make an impression after his All-Pro season in 2017. Missing the entirety of the 2018 season due to a contract dispute. And then after getting the contract, he wanted with the New York Jets, failing to break even 800 yards rushing in 2019.
