Tom announced his retirement from the sport in February, 2022 after 22 glorious seasons. Although his fans were disappointed, most of them were content with the way Tom’s career had panned out. However, surprising everyone across the globe, Brady announced his un-retirement weeks after calling it quits which in-turn gave the meme-makers a chance to take a shot at the champion QB.
Fernando Alonso faces flak for his embarrassing attempt at the Griddy
Tom’s second coming didn’t really turn out well for him as he struggled big time to get going on the field. After a disastrous year in both, his professional and personal life, Brady yet again announced his retirement in February, 2023. However, there have been rumors that Tom might reconsider coming back to the field by un-retiring once again.
While chances of that happening are slim, fans reckon that if he can do it once, he might as well do it once again. Which is why, when F1 star Fernando Alonso recently failed to hit the ‘Griddy,’ his embarrassing attempt reminded several fans of how Tom might celebrate a TD in case the un-retirement cycle keeps going.
For the unversed, ‘Griddy’ is a dance move which was popularized by a High School Footballer named Allen Davis in 2019 on TikTok. Little did he know that his move will end up making the world, including Alonso, go completely crazy. It was towards the end of February this year, Bahrain Pre-Season Testing was about to go underway when to get the fans involved on social media, Alonso did the Griddy and while some fans did appreciate his efforts, many football fans in particular destroyed him for dancing like an old man.

Although Fernando Alonso is undoubtedly one of the biggest F1 stars going around, his popularity has witnessed a sudden spike in many areas where he wasn’t known. This is because Taylor Swift’s die-hard fans are trying to extract every bit of information about Alonso from every possible source as the F1 Driver & the singing sensation have been rumored to be romantically involved with one another.
“A couple of Spanish magazines have been posting about TS (Taylor Swift) and Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso. According to them, the couple has been seeing each other for a week now. Nothing serious tho since they are both recently single,” DeuxMoi wrote in one of it’s Instagram stories a few hours ago.
None of the concerned parties have responded to the rumors till now. It will interesting to see how this story unfolds in the days to come.
