Tom Brady and Kevin Durant's $47.5 Million "Hero Bread" Aligns with NFL GOAT's Nutrition Mission

Tom Brady and Kevin Durant are always looking out for business opportunities, and one of the more interesting ones they had, was an investment into “Hero Bread”, a form of low-carb bread. The startup has amassed a total of $47.5 million in funding, with $15 million coming from the Series B round. Brady is notorious for his health strategies, often going the unconventional way when it comes to his diet and fitness, and so something like this directly aligns with what he’s trying to do.

Hero Bread is still trying to make its presence bigger across the US. With athletes like Brady and Durant coming in to provide funding and support the brand, the startup will only continue to rise and gain attention in the world. Celebrities like rapper Lil Baby have also contributed to the mission. The main goal for the brand is to continue pushing its product to supermarkets and grocery stores all around. They’ve also helped grow their presence online through Amazon.

Tom Brady and Kevin Durant push Hero Bread further

When it comes to the sporting world, the glory of winning and competing is the primary reason that athletes play, but there is another side to the game, of course. Money.

Everyone is looking out for it, and most of the time, big athletes like Tom Brady and Kevin Durant, are making more of their money outside their league contracts.

Therefore, looking at business ventures like Hero Bread is something that serves the interest of the likes of Brady and Durant. Currently, their exact involvement in Hero Bread is unknown, but they are key contributors to the brand.

What exactly is Hero Bread though? It’s a form of bread that boasts low-carb and zero-sugar bread, croissants, tortillas, and buns for consumption.

Brady himself has helped bring Hero Bread to Subway. “As well noted, your boy isn’t the biggest bread guy,” Tom Brady says in a promotional video. “Zero sugar. One net carb and only 100 calories. Now I’m pumped that I can get back to bread. All because of Hero. Truly unbelievable”.

Brady values health and fitness to a massive degree

Brady’s commitment to health is clearly evident. The jokes about his “avocado ice cream” are well known, and the NFL GOAT has a cookbook and health and fitness program that he promotes called “The TB12 Method.”

Tom Brady played 23 long years in the league and looking at how strict he is with his diet, fitness, and exercise, it’s easy to see how Brady was able to last so long in the league.
