Tom Brady to the Raiders? Will the Buccaneers QB leave Tampa Bay to join Las Vegas?

Tom Brady is ready to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the Bucs’ Wild Card game, but many believe that this could be the last time he suits up for the team.

Brady has a number of options when it comes to where his career goes after this year. For one, he could always re-sign with Tampa Bay who would be delighted to have him back for another year or so.

Secondly, he hasn’t ruled out retiring from the NFL altogether either. Brady retired at the end of last season, before he came back, of course, so there’s a chance he could walk out for good this time,

Thirdly, and as rumors develop this scenario becomes the most interesting. Brady has been linked to a few other teams at the end of this year, giving the impression that if moves on from the Buccaneers, he could look to continue his career elsewhere. Brady as a free agent is an enticing prospect, but it doesn’t come without its questions.

Next year, Brady will be 46 years old, but if this season has shown anything, it’s that he still has game in him. Sure, the Bucs quarterback didn’t have the greatest of years, but he still set the NFL’s single-season completion record, and he was in the top 5 for passing yards this year too.

Next year, Brady has been linked to joining several teams over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For one, the Raiders have emerged as a leading candidate for Brady to go to.

There are several reasons the Raiders could emerge as the perfect spot for Brady to go to. For one, Derek Carr is on his way out. The long-time Raiders QB announced that the situation had reached its endpoint and that he is ready to leave the team.

Thus, the Raiders could look to fill his hole by bringing in an experienced veteran like Brady who almost definitely can lead the team to the playoffs.

Secondly, there is a personal connection for Brady too. Former Patriots OC Josh McDaniels coaches the team, and although he was called into question, there is a chance that with Brady he regains some trust within the organization.

The Raiders have weapons too, from Davante Adams to Darren Waller and more including Josh Jacobs for now. The plan is set if Brady wants to join, it just depends on what the quarterback decides at the end of the day.
