Kansas City Chiefs Arrest Trey Songz
R&B artist Songz was arrested after Jackson County Police officers said that Songz assaulted an officer. Fans were complaining that Songz wasn’t following Arrowhead code of conduct or the state health department rules.
Police later approached Songz, telling him he had to leave the premises. However, Songz refused to comply which only escalated things.
Officers told Songz he would be arrested for trespassing if he didn’t leave immediately which seemed to enrage the singer. Reportedly, Songz punched one police officer and put another in a headlock before he was eventually taken away to Jackson County Jail.
However, he was released early on Monday. The prosecutor’s office added that an investigation will follow on the incident.
A clip below shows perhaps a different interpretation of what happened:
Witnesses are reporting that a suspected racist white cop racially targeted Trey Songz & harassed him at the Chiefs vs Bills game. It appears Trey had no choice but to defend himself & punch & put the suspected racist cop in a choke hold, & then Trey Songz was unjustly arrested. pic.twitter.com/NMspDrn1Rl
