Tyreek Hill is going down a dangerous road, as the WR is reportedly under investigation for assaulting and hitting a person at Haulover Marina over Father’s Day. The incident is a little concerning given Hill’s history with violence in the past, and it could spell trouble for the Dolphins receiver. Hill has been enjoying his offseason and training hard for the upcoming NFL year, but an incident like this could put a damper over what looks to be a promising year.

The Dolphins unlocked a special connection between Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa last year, and the hope is that the duo can take them even further in 2023. Hill had the second-most receiving yards in the league last year, and this year, he’s looking to go even beyond that. Hill has already talked about breaking records, and he feels confident that he can do it. However, an incident like this can derail his season before it even starts.
Tyreek Hill faces police investigation for hitting a man
The exact details of Hill’s incident are still developing, but there is still a good amount of information that we already know. Allegedly, Hill hit a man working at Haulover Marina on Father’s Day at around 6 p.m.
Local 10 News received a tip that Tyreek Hill had gotten into a disagreement with an employee working at one of the charter companies at Haulover Marina, and the altercation ended with Hill hitting the man.
So far, it’s still unclear if the man was injured, and it’s also unclear if there will be any criminal charges for Hill following the incident. The Dolphins commented on the situation to the Miami Herald, “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time.”

Hill has a history of violence stemming from his college days at Oklahoma
It’s unfortunate to say, but this isn’t the first time Hill has been accused of something of this nature. Back in 2014, Hill was dismissed from Oklahoma’s athletic program after he was arrested for domestic assault and battery by strangulation with his then-pregnant girlfriend.
Hill reportedly punched and choked his then-girlfriend, and he faced the consequences for it. He was dismissed from Oklahoma, faced three years of probation, and then also went through an anger management program.
It’s a concerning pattern for the WR who was also investigated for alleged battery after his son was left with a broken arm after an incident. However, medical reports revealed the arm was broken by accident. Still, there’s been several problematic instances for the WR and this Haulover Marina incident could mark another.
It’s not a good look for one of the top players in the league, and it’s definitely something the NFL should look at if the charges come back true, and there’s further action.
