Steelers vs. Titans was initially postponed after several Titans players contracted Covid-19. The NFL has now rescheduled Steelers vs. Titans entirely.

Steelers vs. Titans Scheduling Changes
The Steelers and Titans game looked like it would be postponed at first. However, after the first few tests came back positive, the Titans had two new cases.
NFL Chief Medical Officer Dr. Allen Sills said Thursday the reopening of the #Titans facility “totally depends on test results” and requires a period where experts are convinced there’s no COVID-19 transmission. With two more new positive cases for players, they’re not there yet.

Therefore, the NFL shifted the schedule entirely. Steelers vs. Titans will now take place in week 7. While this is bad news, there is a silver lining.
The Titans played the Vikings in week 3, and thus Minnesota shut down all in-person activities. This would potentially have a major impact on the Texans and Vikings game scheduled for week 4. Fortunately, the Vikings have had 0 positive cases.
The #Texans and #Vikings have been informed that their game on Sunday is on, as scheduled, sources say. @TomPelissero reported this morning Minnesota had zero positive tests from Thursday’s round of COVID-19 tests.

Impact of Scheduling Change
The only other team to be affected by this rescheduling are the Baltimore Ravens. As a result of the changes, the Ravens will now have a bye-week in week 7 instead of week 8, when they will play the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Additionally, both the Steelers and Titans now have bye-weeks in week 4. This shakeup has several important consequences.
Firstly, for the Steelers, they now get to enjoy four straight games at home, something that hasn’t happened since 1970.
Meanwhile, Baltimore faces a tougher challenge. Their week 8 bye was scheduled at a perfect time. Originally, the Ravens would have a bye-week before the most difficult part of their schedule.
However, the Ravens now have to play the Steelers, Colts (away), Patriots (away), Titans and Steelers (away) in consecutive weeks. This also means the Ravens will face the Steelers twice in the month of November. For Baltimore, this is far less than ideal.
In order to ensure conflicts like this don’t arise anymore, the NFL is taking action to reduce the possibility of another Covid outbreak.
