Last season, the Los Angeles Chargers won the NFL’s scheduled release day by rolling out a crazy animated video. It was an unexpected treat from the social media team, where they portrayed every player as an anime character. Certainly, this became an instant hit, with fans lauding their efforts to carve out a creative promotional snippet. While the 2023 schedule release is on the table, a similar gesture is expected from the Chargers this year as well.

Every season, franchises try to recreate something different and unique to attract their audience. It gets better with each passing year, and technology plays a vital role in this. However. releasing an anime video never crossed anybody’s mind which is why, the Chargers deserve a lot of praise for the effort they put in last year.

Los Angeles Chargers surprised the entire NFL fraternity last year

It is always a huge deal for social media managers to come up with a crazy idea every season. It has to intrigue fans and entertain them continuously without of course offending anyone. Looking at all these aspects, the Chargers recreated the anime fever by taking shots at their opponents.

Similarly, Kyler Murray’s Instagram controversy was also highlighted in that snippet. Characters like Naruto and Antonio Brown’s appearance stole the show.

Back to 2023, as per thelines.com, the league has already rolled out some key games for the upcoming campaign. It includes the start of the 2023 season with a game between the current Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs, and underdogs Detroit Lions.

It will happen on September 7th this year. Aaron Rodgers will start his first game in a Jets jersey against the Buffalo Bills. The Jaguars will face the Atlanta Falcons on October 1, and Lamar Jackson will begin his hunt against the Tennessee Titans.

NFL declares upcoming season’s international schedule

The overseas matchups are intended to expand the NFL’s reach in European countries and everywhere else. According to NFL.com, five international games will be played during 2023 season. The Falcons will face the Jaguars on October 1 in London.

Similarly, the Jaguars will lock horns against the Buffalo Bills on October 8. The game will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Next up, the Ravens will meet the Titans in London, and thereafter, the Dolphins will face the KC Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany, on November 5.
