Nick Kyrgios slams Marion Bartoli for ‘pathetic’ comments
Nick Kyrgios has slammed Marion Bartoli for her comments on Monfils and himself, wherein she called out Monfils and Kyrgios for not having the ‘work ethic’ to win a grand slam.
Bartoli came up with hard hitting comments on the duo, saying that they needed to ‘grow up’ and that it was a shame that the duo were not utilising their potential to the fullest.
“It’s a true shame because those kids have so much potential,” Bartoli said, while speaking on BBC Radio 5 live.

The Australian came up with a post on Instagram to blast Bartoli over her comments. Kyrgios wanted her to know that she shouldn’t be making such stray comments without knowing what the two athletes have gone through.
He further lashed out saying that Bartoli came up with these comments in order to remain ‘relevant’ in the Tennis fraternity.
Yesterday Marion Bartoli had to say some nice things about Monfils and myself. They’re ‘Pathetic’ ‘Children’ They ‘Can’t become men’ ‘wasting their life’ – Who are you to judge the way we go about things? Who are you to tell us how to do things, when u have no idea what we’ve been through?…. stop assuming you know what’s best for others when you think you’ve had a little success.. we get it, we know you have to remain relevant, but I’ll give you a heads up, we don’t care what you have to say.
He even tweeted about it:
Hahahahaha 😂 good perspective 👍🏽 https://t.co/uMP7TUcqZ5
