Nicolas Pepe goal Vs West Ham: Watch Pepe score to mark comeback against West Ham

Nicolas Pepe goal Vs West Ham: Watch Pepe goal against West Ham, as the French winger allows his team to make a comeback against city rivals.

Arsenal finally won a Premier League match after more than 60 days and first under the charge of caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg. Although it seemed that the gunners will lose the match after conceding the first goal in the game.

However, the North London club manages to overcome the deficit and credits to Nicolas Pepe’s brilliant goal, which made Arsenal imprint their first win in December.

The Gunners were drawing by 1-1 until a quick counterplay by Mesut Ozil gave space to Arsenal’s front-line. From over there, the German International passed the ball to club captain Pierre Emrick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang then quickly spotted Pepe and passed the ball to him. The French winger confident on the ball, cut the ball inside and struck the ball at the top left corner.

David Martin who had a phenomenal debut against Chelsea was absolutely short of luck against Arsenal, as he conceded three goals against the local rivals.

Pepe’s goal would not have that relevance if the 18-year-old Gabriel Martinelli had not scored the equalizer in the crucial phase of the game. Thus, Pepe’s goal totally broke the Hammers and made Arsenal taste its first victory in two months.

Further, Aubameyang’s goal later sealed the victory for the Gunners as the visitors guarded their goal well enough to not allow West Ham to make any last-minute equalizer.
