The game of Cricket has an equally magical effect on fans and supporters from all age brackets. It can infuse energy and pump the same adrenaline rush into a 70-80 year old women as it does to a teenage youngster.

The aforementioned scenario is what the entire Cricketing fraternity witnessed during the India vs Bangladesh World Cup match, which is currently taking place at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

An old woman steals the show

In the midst of a cracking encounter between two South-Asian giants, an old-age Indian fan, probably around the age of 70-80 was seen cheering for Virat Kohli and Co. from the jam-packed Birmingham stands.

The lady had the tri-colour painted on her face and was seen holding a horn in hand, which he kept on blowing at regular intervals to exhibit her support for the ‘Men in Blue’. Credit should be given to the cameraperson, who actually managed to actually spot her from amongst the scores of Indian fans all draped up in Blue.

Here is how Twitter reacted on the Old lady fan cheering for the Indian team

Talking about the ongoing match, India got off to a terrific start after Virat Kohli won the Toss and opted to bat first. Rohit Sharma (104 off 92) carried on with his exuberant form and struck his 4th century of the ongoing World Cup, which is an all-time record.

Half-century from Lokesh Rahul (77 off 92) and other valuable contributions from Rishabh Pant (48 off 41) and MS Dhoni (35 off 33) meant that India posted a total of 314/9 in 50 overs.
