Paul Pogba to Real Madrid: Man Utd respond as Los Blancos offer €80 million plus Gareth Bale and Isco

Manchester United have reiterated about their stance to keep Paul Pogba at the club.

Manchester United have told Real Madrid about their plans of keeping hold of their midfielder Paul Pogba. Following the failure to clinch a Champions League spot for next season, the French International has been strongly linked with a move away from the club. Real Madrid and Juventus were touted as the next stop for his career, but the Red Devils are stubborn in their decision.

Some days back, Paul Pogba said about his intentions to look for a new challenge. To add more to that fuel, agent Mino Raiola has opened about to the media about the plan of the midfielder. The 26-year-old has already spoken about his desire to leave the club. He has already opened up this idea to the board and the manager, who are seeing him in their plans for the next season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Los Blancos are finding it hard reaching Manchester United’s demands. The Red Devils are eyeing a fee of 170 million, a fee which has put off the Spanish giants.

A few weeks back, Real Madrid were prepared to pay up to 150 million for his services, but they are on the course of balancing their books currently. Since Zinedine Zidane wants a complete revamp, many players, who were part of the Champions League glories are told to leave by the manager. Two players including Gareth Bale and Isco are placed on the transfer list.

With no further future at Santiago Bernabeu, they have offered €80 million plus either one of Bale or Isco in return. The Red Devils, who are no longer prepared to listen to player’s intention, have straightaway said ‘No’ to Real Madrid’s fresh bid.

Paul Pogba was due for training return this week, but he has been excused and will join the group for the Pre-Season tour in Asian and Oceania. The player’s intention and desire might play a huge role in this deal.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

With more than a month left in the transfer window, Paul Pogba could force himself out of the club. But, the Red Devils will be reluctant to take neither Gareth Bale nor Isco.
