Paul Pogba Transfer: Manchester United claim Pogba will stay at Old Trafford

Paul Pogba Transfer: Manchester United have claimed that Paul Pogba will remain at the Old Trafford and will decline offers for him.

Paul Pogba fueled his transfer speculations after his controversial statement earlier in the day. It caused a stir on social media, as fans thought that he is signalling towards a move away from the Old Trafford.

However, in recent advancements, according to a report by Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are certain to keep Pogba at the club for next season.

The 26-year-old player is a crucial asset to the club and probably the best player in midfield for the Red Devils, and considering Pogba has two years left in his contract, Manchester United can opt to keep him at the club for another season.

Additionally, exit of Juan Mata and Ander Herrera have left a huge void in midfield and Manchester United are not willing to degrade their squad further.

Considering, unavailability of suitable replacements for the French International does also make Manchester United possessive of Pogba.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are massively interested in hiring the services of the World Cup winning player. Zinedine Zidane has in fact listed his compatriot as his priority target this summer.

It is further reported that Los Blancos are ready to splash their banks to land him in the Spanish Capital ahead of next season, as Real Madrid are still willing to further complete their squad overhaul.

However, with Manchester United having two years left in the contract with Pogba and an option to increase it for another year, the Red Devils are in control of the situation.
