Paul Pogba is set to captain Manchester United in their second league match against Brighton and Hove Albion, Jose Mourinho confirmed in the pre-match conference.
With all the drama that has been brewing over the past one month regarding the exit of world champion Paul Labile Pogba there comes yet another sweet statement from the theatre of dreams.
Jose Mourinho today confirmed that he will stick with the number 6 for the armband.
In the pre-match conference, the Portuguese manager stated that he is happy with the work ethic of Pogba.

“The truth is we are together for two years & a couple of weeks, & I’ve never been so happy with him as I am now. When he says he did it for the fans & for the team, it is exactly what I want. It is exactly what I demand from my players.
“I couldn’t be happier with him (Pogba) than I am now.”, said the 55-year old.
It is clear that with all the rumours going on, the Portuguese is doing all that he can in order to keep Pogba happy and content at the Old Trafford.

The Frenchman was made the skipper by Mourinho when United played their first game against Leicester City and also scored the first goal of this season.
