With the new year fast approaching, the time to make resolutions has also dawned upon us. Content creators and streamers are no less. Twitch streamer, Pokimane shared what she wants to do in the coming year, and it is beyond content creation.

She took to Twitter to announce what her plans are for 2023.

What does Pokimane want for 2023?

The 26-year-old content creator was vocal about the changes she intends to make in the new year. On her private Twitter handle, she wrote “my #1 priority in 2023 will be to experience new things and get into the best shape”.

She shed more light on her decision in a follow-up tweet. “This might be the first year where content isn’t the priority of mine.” She said she will focus more on herself, and less on her YouTube and Twitch.

It was pretty obvious that Pokimane was having a rough year when she announced a hiatus from streaming and YouTube, since that meant lesser watch hours and revenue for her, in general.

When she came back from the hiatus, she explained how much she needed that break. She also went into depth about the kind of pressure content creators are under due to the content race they are constantly in.

While the support she got from the viewers was immense, her viewers and followers did see a drop. It was around November when it started reflecting since Amouranth got the title of the most-watched female streamer in November.

While some might say new year, new me, it is only a few can achieve it. Knowing how determined Pokimane has been regarding her career, she will conquer the year ahead.
