Ramos on Mourinho: Sergio Ramos has spoken about the possibility of Jose Mourinho taking over the Real Madrid job.
Jose Mourinho left Manchester United earlier this week. The manager left the club two days after the side’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool in the Premier League.
Over the course of the season, he has been linked with the Real Madrid job. The speculations cooled down after Santiago Solari was given the permanent role at Santiago Bernabeu, but they have risen again after Mourinho’s departure from Old Trafford.
Mourinho, in his official statement, refused to give a timeline on his return to football management. However, Sergio Ramos was asked the question about the possibility of Mourinho coming back to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are currently playing the Club World Cup where the Spanish side has reached the final of the tournament.
Ramos on Mourinho:
The Real Madrid captain lashed out at the media for not showing ‘respect’ to Santiago Solari, the current boss at the club.
“We have been five years without Mou and you [media] are still talking about him,” Ramos said.
Ramos asked about Mourinho [of course] “We have been five years without Mou and you [media] are still talking about him. He is someone who has a very high level marketing. We have won everything, and people still talk about him. Solari is here now and we must respect him.”

Jose Mourinho was the boss at Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, and led the club to La Liga victory in 2012. He reached the semifinal of the Champions League in his final season at the club.
Mourinho remains to be on good terms with club’s president, Florentino Perez.
Sergio Ramos on Mourinho: “I’m not the one to decide who will be Real Madrid’s manager. We’ve been without Mourinho for 5 years and we’re still talking about him. Tomorrow we can win a new title but you talk about Mourinho. The captain doesn’t decide the managers.” pic.twitter.com/8EdoBhqos8

“He [Mourinho] is someone who has a very high-level marketing. We have won everything, and people still talk about him. Solari is here now and we must respect him.
“I’m not the person who decides which coach comes here or doesn’t. Some people seem to think that the captains decide which coach Real Madrid appoints.”
Ramos, meanwhile, also stated that Real Madrid are eyeing a third straight Club World Cup title, and a fourth overall.

“No-one can doubt the record of any one of us and we have another chance to defend the Club World Cup title,” Ramos said.
“No-one has ever done this. We are looking forward to the final with hope and we want to go home with the prize. It would be great for us on an emotional level to come back with the trophy.”
